WELCOME TO FARNHAM SCULPTURE

- WOOD AND STONE CARVING GROUP -

Line.png

We are a friendly group of wood and stone carvers. We work in an attractive, well equipped studio within the Farnham Pottery buildings in Wrecclesham, Farnham. Our membership includes both experienced carvers who exhibit and sell locally and beginners who enjoy being in creative, supportive company. We also offer a small programme of workshops and classes not just in stone and wood carving, but also in other complementary craft disciplines too.

COURSES, WORKSHOPS and teaching

We offer workshops in a variety of sculpture based disciplines, and are delighted to welcome internationally renowned sculptor Richard Jack to our team as a tutor. Richard will be running workshops from October 2022 and courses from Spring 2023.

As new workshops are scheduled, they will be listed in our ‘Courses & Workshops’ section for you to book. If you would like to find out more, please sign up to our mailing list.

Our MEMBERS

The group is run by a committee of members and is non profit making. Membership currently costs £40 a month and for this there is unlimited* access to the studio, including weekends. The studio is heated and tea/coffee are provided. If you would like to visit us with a view to becoming a member, we would love to welcome you. Please get in touch with us for an informal chat. (*when workshops and courses are not running.)

Our Roots

Six keen wood and stone carvers founded Farnham Sculpture in 2003 in a small unit in Farnham Pottery. As our membership grew we moved to our current studio where facilities include purpose built benches, wood vices and some tools that members may use in the studio.
